Shelly has a wealth of experience in communications consulting with direct experience at senior levels of government and the non-profit sector. She brings expertise in media and community relations, stakeholder partnerships, advertising, and strategic planning. Shelly is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Regina, and sits on the southern board of directors for Junior Achievement Saskatchewan.
Andrew’s extensive background in journalism and communications make him a marketing genius who is able to see and communicate clearly the big picture. With such foresight, strategizing with Andrew for the future feels like it comes with the bonus of 20/20 hindsight. Andrew believes that every marketing strategy should go beyond “getting it right” to the realm of "expanding the possible". Andrew's journalism career took him through City Halls and Legislatures in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan before the entrepreneurial bug bit in 2004 and he formed his own company. This passion for business saw Andrew elected to the Regina and District Chamber of Commerce in 2007 and serve as President in 2010.
Cory Furmanis a lawyer and patent and trademark agent practicing in the area of intellectual property law. Both through strategic advising as well as through the filing of various patent and trademark applications and the like, Cory helps clients to unlock value in their intellectual assets, along with developing and implementing international market entry strategies – helping clients from a consolidated local point of contact to execute their IP strategy as their geographic footprint increases. Over the past 20 years Cory has had the pleasure of working with many diverse clients which has helped to provide a broad business development context and perspective, which is useful in his counsel role.
Cory holds his Chartered Director designation from the Directors College (DeGroote School of Business) and uses this additional strategic and governance perspective to enhance his client counsel in many areas including board level IP strategy and oversight, and enterprise-level innovation capture and planning – he has also been involved in various community governance roles including with the Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership, the Regina & District Chamber of Commerce, and most recently with Creative Saskatchewan.
In his spare time, Cory nurtures his aspirations of being a world barbecue champion.
