We are expanding our services to other regions in Saskatchewan and Canada and are looking for a New Business Development Specialist to join our team. Look is based in Regina and has been helping our clients achieve marketing success for over 10 years. Our future growth in 2015 and beyond requires a dynamic individual to help us grow our business and expand our markets.

You must have prior experience developing relationships with Owners, Presidents and General Managers of small to medium sized companies where you sold a product or service that was based on value and not on price. Strong closing skills and a willingness to prospect is essential to this position.


Your primary role is to generate a large quantity of new business leads and prospects for the firm according to a pre-defined set of client criteria. The new business developer generates research on prospects and assembles reports to use in attracting and inciting prospects interest in the agency. Also, the new business developer maintains the prospect database, makes and keeps appointments, cold calls leads and prospects, maintains and follows up on regular new business developer mailings to prospects, looks for new leads, creates prospect profiles, and stays up to date on correspondence relating to all prospect contacts. In the future this role will involve management of other new business development staff.



We would prefer candidates with at least 3 years of selling skills experience, however we will consider others that could prove they have the majority of the following

  • Have demonstrated skills for prospecting for new business
  • Grown existing accounts through relationship based selling

Past experience selling for an Agency, web sites or Internet marketing services moves you to the front of the line and for our immediate consideration.


Your desire and ability to make a minimum of $80,000 in the first year and the desire and commitment to make six figures and beyond is what we want to discuss. The successful candidate will receive a compensation package including base salary, exceptional commission program and company benefits.

Seeing how mobile and tablet traffic is reaching 60% of overall traffic on our client sites , such as shown above, I thought it would be a good time to write another blog post that explains responsive web technology.

A responsive website is one that adapts itself to the screen size of the device it is being viewed on. Unlike mobile sites, a responsive website doesn’t care if you are on a desktop or a phone or what operating system you have. All it cares about is what's the width of your screen. The advantage of this approach is that you need only one website which is not the case with mobile sites that also require desktop versions. The disadvantage of a responsive site is that it can be slower than a mobile site due to its requirement to handle multiple screen sizes.

I don’t want to make too much of an assumption here, but I am pretty sure it’s almost summer.  While the deluge of rain that we’ve recently had seems to spoil our excitement, July 1 is just around the corner. I like to approach it like it is its own New Years Day: I will make the same cliché list of goals, but this time the warmer weather will hopefully encourage me to actually meet them!

One of the most difficult things in business is determining what price to sell your products or services for. In most cases, businesses base their prices on the cost of production, as they are unsure of the value they provide. For example, a jewelry maker may sell their jewelry at (x) times the price of silver. In another example, an accounting firm will figure out that they are paying a bookkeeper $25/hour, and thus bill out $75/hour as per the rule of thirds. If you aren’t familiar with the rule of thirds, it states that the revenues are made of three equal parts: cost of production, overhead and profit. No matter what multiple is used, businesses that do this are selling commodity instead of value.
